We are a friendly professional household living in a convenient and very sought after part of the city. I rent two of my rooms out.and this one will become available around June/July 2012.
Our set up is ideally suited to someone who works in the area but has their main home elsewhere and whose primary requirement is a comfortable, convenient, hassle-free base in Winchester to stay just during their working days for an all inclusive rent. This could either be someone working a normal Monday to Friday and returning home at weekends, or alternatively a shift worker returning to their main home on days off. I would consider someone who needs to stay on a full-time basis for a short term period only - not more than 2 or 3 months, but prefer a Mon - Friday or similar arrangement.
The available double room is spacious, light and airy, fully furnished including bedding and has a TV, computer desk & chair. It is on the top floor of a 3 storey modern town house and is lockable for peace of mind. The bathroom is shared between the two housemates only .
The perfect match will be a quiet, considerate & independent non-smoking professional who is neat & tidy in the home. Ideally someone who is travelling light (ie not bringing too much in the way of personal posessions) and who will be happy to conduct their social life outside the home. No students, sorry! I would be prepared to negotiate the rental for the right person.
I am houseproud and the place is always kept neat, tidy and well maintained. It offers a high standard of accommodation with no additional costs in a very pleasant and convenient yet quiet area of this lovely city.
