We are a young, friendly, professional couple. Our house is modern, spacious and clean with off-road parking!
Housemate(s) will have sole use of the main bathroom.
Rent includes all bills (except telephone).
Food can either be organised on a shared basis or individually (i.e. we'll provide you with your own cupboard space and use of spare fridge/freezer if you prefer not to buy food with us and/or not eat with us).
The house is in a quiet village just outside Bedford (6 miles from Bedford train station and only 3 miles from Bedford!). There are two good sized, double rooms available. The rooms are furnished with a double bed, drawers and wardrobes. Linen, duvet, pillows all available if necessary. The house has central heating plus wood burners. The house is very modern and very well presented! We have wireless internet, Sky HD / Sky Plus, garage for storing bicycle etc. if required, two local pubs, two takeaways, village convenience store, village post office, village hall, bus stops.
Main bathroom has toilet, sink, bath and overhead power shower.
We have a large kitchen with all the usual mod cons (microwave, steamer, gas hob, electric oven, tv, dishwasher), utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, cloakroom with toilet and sink).
We have two dogs but they don't have the roam of the whole house, therefore it doesn't smell doggy. We have plenty of off road parking, a large garden, countryside views to the rear (views of horses). There is a house alarm and CCTV around the outside of the house.
We are looking for a non-smoker (don't mind light smokers that smoke outdoors) that likes dogs and isn't looking for a place to play loud music or roll in drunk on a regular basis etc.
We're happy to have short term lodgers, anything from 1 week to several months or more.
Viewings can be arranged anytime.
1 furnished, double room currently available.
£200 deposit and one months rent up front.
