Hi Ppl,
Following a very successful spell with my current lodger, I am looking to do it again!
I am not fussed whether youre male or female. Whats more important is that whoever comes in respects the place like its their own, but at the same time doesnt feel like they have to walk round on eggshells because they live with the landlord. I must stress however that bathroom and kitchen cleanliness is not optional!
I work in the city for a financial tech company as a Business Analyst so this is by no means a 'party flat', although having beers/wine/whisky (your preference) after work is all good!
On the Fridays though I tend to let loose a lot more, Shoreditch is almost walking distance. I usally return to my family home in West London on Saturdays as I tend to have commitments there on Sunday mornings.
Stepney Green station is 2 mins walk away, Whitechapel is 8mins as is Bethnal Green. There is a large Sainsburys 5 mins away and theres plenty of other shops even closer (Currys, Halfords, newsagents, Co-op, Subway). It is ideal to either commuting to the City (20mins) or Canary Wharf (25-30mins). Theres a great gym (Qmotion) a five minute walk away which is very very well equipped (im a semi serious lifter and it satisfies all my requirements) for £42 a month. Im more than happy to drag you along if you need that gentle push!
The bedroom has newly built wardrobes, the bed and matress are 3 months old and there is a chest of drawers/lamp etc.
The living room is of decent size, I've got a brand new corner suite in there, and a 46" LED tv.
Dining and coffee table also.
A few restrictions I have; 1. No smokers. 2. No couples. 3. No Pets 4. No candles (a lot of wood in the place!) 5. No 'House Parties'
It goes without saying...no drugs..
I am looking for £800 per calendar month, inclusive of all utility bills, telephone/broadband and council tax. However if someone comes along who I really feel is a great fit, there is leeway on the price.
In regard to short term lets, I will be seeking a premium in the region of around 20%, but that can be discussed if applicable.
I have put a move in date of the weekend 7/8 July as this gives me a week to ensure the room is tiptop for your arrival, my current roommate leaves on 30th June.
Regards
Manjit
