Preferred room and flatmate description
I am currently living in a large semi-detached property in the Walton area of Liverpool. The Landlady is a family friend and so I am house sitting for her at the minute and I also help her to find potential roommates.
There are currently 2 rooms which are available for rent. They are both carpeted and are double rooms. They each have a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. They have been decorated in the last 12 months. There is a large kitchen(14m2) which is equiped with a fridge freezer, a Freezer, a cooker, a microwave and a dining table. There is also a living room with 3 leather couches, an internet connection(Wireless can also be provided) and a TV/DVD. There is a WC, a shower room and a bathroom. There is also a laundry room with 2 washing machines. These are all available for communal use. There is a second much smaller kitchen(7m2) which i and my partner use.
I, along with my girlfriend are living here with 2 other roommates. I and my girlfriend were made redundant 3 months ago from a utilities company and so we are both looking for work. We are both 30. The other 2 roommates are in their 20s. One is male student who attends Edge Hill Uni and the other is a female Teaching Assistant. He is often away as he has family in the area and she works long hours so she is here mainly at the weekend but also spends time in the centre with her friends. They are both very polite and considerate housemates who manage to keep the house clean and tidy and I would be looking for the same qualities from any prespective housemate.
The house is situated in a quiet residential street off the main road. The landlady has paid for an access to be installed by the council to allow for off road parking. The front of the house is also being tarmaced in November so there will be off road parking available for 4 cars. There is also safe street parking. There is back garden with flagging and grass. There is shelter which is used for hanging washing to protect it from rain.
The rent is £250+£75 for bills. This is standard throughout the year. The bills include Hot water, Heating, water rates, Tax, electricity, internet and TV licence. The minimum stay is 6 months with a £200 deposit paid upfront. There is also a need for 1 reference to be provided. If someone requires to stay for a shorter period then this must be made clear in advance and off course the monthly rent would change.
