Home consists of a married adult couple and 3 children (10, 6 and 2 years old).

Shared use of the laundry facilities (negotiable) includes washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron etc.

This will be a shared accommodation in a family home - this is not a hotel, B&B or hostel...

Suitable for a working adult (or a couple), but the rent for a couple would be £550pcm.

Because this is our family home and there are younger children we would prefer someone that on the whole will not be in the house during daytime - so it may not be suitable for a night or shift worker.

Combs Ford is a quiet residential area on the edge of Stowmarket, with good local facilities in very short walking distance. Including 2 pubs (both serving food), hairdressers and barbers, Doctor's surgery, Co-op supermarket and other shops, main bus route, 2 fish & chip shops etc. Only 5-10 mins walk from town centre with pubs, clubs, full range of shops, take-aways, small cinema, taxi companies etc. No more than 15 minutes walk from the railway station with links to Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, London, and more. Lidl, Asda and Co-op supermarkets within walking distance and a Tesco's within a very short drive or a slightly longer walk. Easy access to the A14 for drivers providing access to Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge etc. Historic churches and pleasant country walks easily accessible too if that is your thing.

Minimum stay of 12 months.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED UPSTAIRS (including the rented room) AT ANY TIME.

Large Garden (nothing special and not much fun in the winter but it can be nice in the summer as it has the sun nearly all day).

On road parking available in our quiet residential street.

Due to bad experiences with Housing Benefit claimants in the past no one needing state support will be considered (you can thank the current government for this position).

The room will be subject to periodic inspection to make sure that it is maintained ... if you require assistance we have a cleaner who is willing give the room a basic cleaning once a week for an additional charge.
