House is a Georgian end terrace with garage, 2 car driveway and out buildings but minimal garden. Its a 2 minute walk from the main high street (M&S end) and 10 min walk from Morrisons.
House is 3 bed and 1 bathroom with a huge 5 room cellar, study, drying room, dining room and various other rooms - its quite big for the price. Rooms were redecorated when we moved in, come unfurnished (although my housemate runs an auction house so can get cheap furniture if needs be) and the central heating updated before that. We have fridge freezer, washing machine, TV and internet.
The land lady is a lovely retiree has had renters in it for the last 8-10 years with us for the last 2 through Watson & Mitchell. We pay £300 each a month in rent with the rest covering all the bills. We have a 6 month contract up for renewal but the land lady is happy to wait till we have a 3rd person moving in.
As for us two remaining housemates, Greg runs Batemans auctions in Stamford, as such we have what seems to be an ever changing array of old stuff appear in out house, he also plays squash and buys a lot of wine. I (Phil) work at Perkins engines in Peterborough and enjoy cycling, roadtrips and travel which I get to do for work quite a bit. Greg and I have lived togehter for 4 out of the last 6 years and never really argue over cleaning or washing up etc - it just gets done. We moved to Stamford 2 years ago after Peterborough got a bit dull, can't see us leaving for a while yet.
