Preferred room and flatmate description
Hi! I have a double room to let in a three-bedroom, three-storey townhouse in the new Carrington Point development, just off Hucknall Road in Sherwood, available now. The bedrooms is on the first floor with wooden laminate flooring, and comes unfurnished. The rent of £320pcm is inclusive of all bills (including council tax), except phone calls.
The room is ready to be occupied, and are ideal for professionals working in Nottingham city centre or the universities. The house has a spacious kitchen/diner, first floor lounge with Juliet balcony, and a small garden to the rear with a paved seating area. Despite being close to the city centre the surrounding residential area is very quiet. The nearest bus stop is a couple of minutes’ walk away, with buses every 5 to 10 minutes into the city centre (the journey takes about 5 minutes). The nearest tram stop is The Forest, which is about a mile away from the house. The house is also within walking distance or a short bus ride of Nottingham City Hospital.
Ideally I would be looking for people between 22 and 35 years old.
Plenty of good local amenities – Tesco Express on Hucknall Road is within two minutes’ walk, and there is a newsagents, hairdressers, takeaway, deli etc all under five minutes’ walk away. Carrington (about ten minutes’ walk away) has Lidl and Co-Op supermarkets, Natwest bank and a number of other small shops and pubs.
I’m a 27 year old professional guy who’s fairly relaxed and easy going, into music. It would be nice to have tenants who are both sociable but also like their own space, and are generally easy-going, open-minded, and easy to get along with. I own the house; it is well maintained and tidy.
