House is fully furnished and equipped and situated in Rubery (SW Bham)
The house is always warm in winter and has hot water 24/7. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Communal areas are kept clean and tidy. We have a large beautiful garden where we sometimes have barbecues or just sit having a beer in the summer.
The room is is modern, double glazed, cozy and has has Virgin TV and 50 Mb WiFi Broadband, TV. DVD etc. There is a single bed and a bed settee if you have the occasional friend stay over.
We have a huge collection of all of the latest movies on hard disc. 1500 movies.
Birmingham city centre is about 20 minutes by direct bus via Bristol Road. Easy access to Bham Uni, Bourneville College is only 5 minutess along the Bristol Road.. Buses also to Bromsgrove, Solihull, Redditch etc. Excellent motorway access. 2 mins Junction 4 of M5 and M42. Safe parking on the drive.
You would be sharing the house with myself and a 23 year old male. who is a barman and a 25 year old male who is in logistics. We all do our own thing, but get on well and share a bit of friendly banter when we meet in the kitchen. Although I am the live in landlord I am a friendly character and as it is also my home, so you have the advantage that I am here if there are any problems, or anything goes wrong.
You could share the use of Landline telephone. ( calls included in bills.) or you can have your own line and number for a phone in your room for only £5 per month including calls. (optional)
For people who like the countryside, the Lickey Hills are only a 5 minute walk away. This has to be the nicest area in Birmingham, as the city centre is only 20 minutes by bus, yet it is situated near to beautiful countryside. There is also a golf course 200 meters away.
Please only calm friendly, chilled people, as we are all get along well in the house and respect each other’s space and belongings. Down to earth people only please. No people who think they are better than anyone else and no slobs. Just ordinary friendly people please.
Smoking is ok outside, or by the extractor fan in the kitchen.
Animal lover required as we have a dog :)
