Located in a friendly & nice area of town walking distance (10 mins) from the train station and bus station and town centre. All amenities are close by.
Rooms all have TV points and are furnished with recently new bed, mattress, modern fitted wardrobe with mirror (2 x storage shelves for shoes) ikea chest of draws, bedside unit and desk space for a laptop not forgetting the hand made roman blinds that black out the room if you like a lie in. Decoraged in creams and beige with sandy coloured carpets, makes the room feel very warm but neutral.
Shared facilities
There is a top of the range washing machine and dishwasher to do your washing up all you need to do it load it, oh and unload it! There is a new oven/hob, microwave and lots of cooking equipment, so you shouldn't be queueing to cook tea.
Wireless Internet reaches all the rooms and it's easy to set up providing your PC is compatable with virgins wireless network (most modern PC's are), and all included in the price along with additional TV channels available from the lounge TV.
The home is complete with a relaxing lounge to relax in after a hard day at work, and recently newly fitted kitchen and 2 white bathrooms inc power shower & heat as you go shower so there is always plenty of hot water.
Safety & Maintance
The property complies with the shared house standards in terms of space, fire alarms and there is plenty of fire extinguishers and is well maintained heating with gas safety certificate, and regular plumbing, drains, etc. Everything that can be insured is and so mending things is quick and usually free too. The damp proofing was done recently too. As the house is fitted with fire alarms and heat detectors there is a no smoking throughout.
You will already be working in stable employment, and able to provide a couple of references and produce a passport for ID. You will not be involved in any illegal activities as we have close connections with the police.
A little bit about me, I bought the house a few years ago and completely refurbished it myself, with the exception of getting specialists in for damp proofing, electrics etc! So I have recent reliable contacts for if anything goes wrong and for everything else I am insured. All I need from people within the house is for the doors to be kept locked when you go out and for a text message when something needs my attention. When the house is kept tidy I have a cleaner which I offer as a good will guesture for keeping the house in good order.
I used to work in HR and employment law, but these days I have requalified to be a therapeutic counsellor. So hopefully you'll find I listen :-) I appreciate honesty and to be told about things rather than find them out for myself, in return you will get respect and what ever help I can offer if needed.
