I am the current Lodger living in the room and I plan to move out end of July to my new apartment. I have lived here for a year and a half. The landlady is easy going, very polite and friendly single mom (working) with a little 8 year old well-behaved boy and a working daughter. It did not take me long to start feeling as a part of the family in this welcoming home. The house is very clean and tidy. Newly done kitchen and bath, plenty of storage space in the room with built-in wardrobe and a separate storage cupboard. The bathroom is right next to the room. The room overlooks a big 24 hour Tescos Supermarket just around the corner. Lots of take aways just at the top of the street including subway, pizza hut, milano's pizza, Mr. COD, McDonald's, chinese take aways and a variety of other fast food shops. There are two gyms within a 500m radius, one ladies and one unisex. Reading west station is less than 10 minutes walk and a 15 minutes walk into town. Buses 15, 16 and 17 stop at the top of the road every 3-4 minutes. Free parking available.
The room would suit a female professional/mature student or a monday to friday let (rent flexible for mon-Fri let). Utilities costs cover electricity, local phone calls, water, council tax, TV licence, wifi etc. A very good bargain for the price. The room wont last long.
