    Status as of 18th June 2013: 1 double available from August 10th to September 9th.1 single available from 05.07-09.08.2013 and then from 01 January 2014. Different moving dates and interim solutions possible on request. German (non-resident) landlady with Scottish family rents out the 2 bed rooms in her ex-Council House, preferably to foreign/exchange students but others are also welcome. Holiday home contract (Ferienhausvertrag) available for German speaking tenants. The house is a bit old-fashioned but typical and some of the traditional features have been kept (gas fire, pulley in the bathroom). The bathroom was fully renovated in summer 2010. Partial central heating, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, broadband, flat rate for phone calls to Germany, TV. Back & front doors, large front, back & side gardens.

    The price is GBP 270 (double room)/260 (single room)net, i. e. excl. bills (80 GBP/room/person for gas, electricity, telephone, TV, broadband flat), PLUS Council Tax (band C). Full-time students are exempted from Council Tax! The rate applies to longer-term tenants (=>6 months, higher rates may apply to short-lets, please enquire.

    Good transport links: Direct bus connection from Paisley Road West (8 min. walk) to Partick at bottom of Byres Road (close to Glasgow University ) + Paisley (UWS). Short 12 mins train journey to Glasgow Central (Hillington West railway station 5 mins. walk). Easy access to M8 and airport.
