The room is a large newly decorated double in a totally refurbished flat. There is a large double-fronted built-in wardrobe and a big double bed with bedroom furniture in it at present, although personal items of furniture are more than welcome.
The flat on the first floor of a portered redbrick mansion block with lift. There is a gym next door and several others in the area.
Waitrose, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Whiteleys, restaurants and bars are all within a 2 minute radius. However, the building and the flat is particularly quiet.
Transport links are fantastic, Bayswater tube (district and cirlce lines) is a 4 minute walk away, while Queensway tube (central line) is 8 minutes walk from the flat. Royal Oak station is 2 minutes in the opposite direction (Hammersmith and City). Transport links to anywhere, but the City in particular, are fantastic. There is also the possibility of a Resident's Permit if you have a car.
Queensway is on the cusp of Bayswater and Notting Hill, Portobello Road is a 7 minute walk from the front door. Which means you are near enough to enjoy, but don't have the major hassle of Notting Hill Carnival etc.! It also means Notting Hill living at Bayswater prices!
The rent is £1000.
The room is now available for rent from the first week of January onwards.
All bills are included (separated from rent these would total around £310 per month, including internet, Sky, heating, hot and cold water, service charge for lift/porter/daily rubbish collection, electricity, council tax etc.)
