My name is Barbara, I'm retired (but not a doddery ol' codger I promise!) and normally share my house with 3 other people and my little dog. At the moment I have two, long-term, lady lodgers, one of whom's been here for 7 years now (so I must be doing something right!!)
The vacancy is for a double-sized comfortabley furnished bed-sitting room (single bed) in friendly family home. It's a quiet house with everyone respecting eachother's privacy and desire for peace. Shared facilities include 2 x bathroom/shower-room/wcs, a well equipped kitchen and utility room and use of a nice garden.
The house is currently on the market and so I'm not asking for a deposit, or a committment to more than 3 months. The first month's rent will be payable on acceptance of the room after viewing. After that the rent is payable weekly (£75) if preferred.
Ideally I'm looking for a mature professional female.
There is wi-fi available and road-side parking. There are local shops about 5 minutes walk away and we are close to buses into Stockport. We're just over 1 mile from Stockport centre, 1.5 miles from Stockport Train Station and aprox 9 miles from Manchester Airport.
Sorry but it's a non-smoking house although I don't mind smoking in the garden.
