Birmingham is a vast, sprawling city that encompasses numerous boroughs. Once the home of the motor trade, not surprisingly Birmingham has a comprehensive road system to cater for its many drivers. With public transport in mind the city offers an impressive city-wide bus service to compensate for its fairly limited train network.
Over two thirds of its inhabitants are professionals and generally look to areas such as the city centre, Edgbaston and Harborne for room sharing. While the large student population is mainly centred around the University of Birmingham and the adjoining areas of Moseley, Selly Oak and Balsall Heath.
