Preferred room and flatmate description

Please read the following very carefully as I have fairly specific requirements.

I'm a very quiet male, a recent graduate in full-time employment who requires somewhere long-term. I'm not so much concerned with which particular area of London I would be staying in, so long as there are relatively reliable transport links to the City, which is near where I work. I'm much more concerned with the precise living arrangements.

First and foremost, I'm looking for somewhere that's quiet. I don't expect to find a monastery in London, but I do need a place where I can read and possibly study. To that end, it's also imperative that there's adequate storage space for my books (of which there are many).

Secondly, I'm someone who really does need his own space, so I'm afraid that any arrangement where socialisation is deemed compulsory would not be suitable. Of course, this requirement cuts both ways in that I greatly value and respect other people's space and privacy. That said, I'm considered a genuinely friendly person, and I have no objection whatsoever to having the occasional conversation.

Those are the two main criteria I'm looking for. Some sort of internet access would also be welcome, particularly for study purposes.
