Preferred room and flatmate description

I'm a mature student studying for an MSc in Evolutionary Psychology at Liverpool, then possibly a PhD, so will need a place until at least August next year. I've previously been working as an accountant in London. Go figure.

The main thing I'm looking for is somewhere fairly quiet. After looking at the university accomodation I don't think I'd get it there, so am looking elsewhere. I'd like to think I've not become totally boring, and I still like a pint, going out, etc, but I won't be a party animal like an undergraduate. I not saying I want to live in a library but maybe after midnight on weekdays is not a time for parties, if you see what I mean. A desk in my room might be handy.

Aside from studies, I'm pretty active. I play squash for uni and play several times a week, football occasionally and go to the gym. I also go walking to the Lake/Peak District sometimes on Sundays with the hiking club.

I really need the internet for work so that's a must. I like a few programs on TV and also football, so Sky+ and Sky Sports would be good too, but not essential.
