Looking for a great houseshare with just one person, but don't want to live with the owner? Hoping to find a creative, sociable and relaxed home? Prefer to live with Vegetarians or Vegans? This could be the ideal haven for you!
The house is decorated to a high standard...with wooden floors, modern kitchen, lounge with wood burning stove, front sitting room for reading, mediation, yoga or watching DVDs, plus small back office (+ storage if needed) and great suntrap garden. Gas central heating, double glazed, parking space or store your bicycle in the hall.
The available double room gets all the morning sun and is warm, restful and fully furnished with plenty of extra storage if needed (huge chest of drawers on landing, large wall cupboard in lounge, office space + shelves) .
You'll be only 2 minutes walk from the train station and 192 bus route direct to the city centre, as well as all the great local bars, pubs, cafes and shops. Or catch the train out towards Buxton and stop off along the way - there are many beautiful villages, canal and woodland walks to explore, plus we have several nature reserves 5 minutes walk from the house if you need some instant greenery!
Just a little about me....I am self employed, active and out and about most weekends, so you'll have the house to yourself quite alot of the time. I'd prefer to live with someone who is looking for a home rather than just a "house share", but I also need privacy, so you'd get plenty of space for yourself. I really love to cook for friends and sit around the wood burner...you're welcome to have friends stay (sofa bed in lounge) or host small parties at weekends. If you are a very quiet person just in Manchester for a short period that's fine too, I will respect your needs and can offer a friendly, clean, restful home during your stay.
The house share would ideally suit a considerate, tidy, non-smoking female Vegetarian or Vegan. Students or professionals welcome. Sorry no pets due to visiting neighbour’s cat. This house is wonderful, so come and visit. You'll find the house speaks for itself...and I'm not too bad either! Hope to hear from you soon.
