We’ve around 100 ensuite rooms in stunning shared houses in Jesmond, including studios and apartments 200m from Osborne Road and a short walk into the city centre for non-smoking tidy professionals in their early 20’s to early 30’s.
For our houseshares, the ratio is approximately 1/3 males to 2/3 females, all tidy and friendly professionals. Contracts are usually 6 months upwards but we can sometimes do shorter lets.
We offer easy in / easy out and deposits can be spread over a few months if it helps.
Properties are owned by us, all ensuite bedrooms with power showers, very spacious and are furnished and decorated to the highest of standards with a contemporary feel. Two 42" plasma TV’s, one in the lounge with Virgin cable plus another 42” plasma TV in the conservatory. We are currently installing 32” HD Freeview plasmas in all bedrooms. Dedicated utility rooms with stainless steel appliances - two washer dryers and two fridge freezers one of which is American style. There’s a stainless steel freestanding range oven and a microwave oven, black Italian granite worktops, dishwasher, chocolate brown leather sofas, solid oak hardwood flooring (long and wide boards), wireless broadband, double glazing, chandeliers and huge mirrors throughout. Additionally, all appliances are covered with callout and breakdown cover policies and we have an in-house team of trades who respond to the smallest problem quickly.
Our properties exceed HMO specifications… more sound insulation for greater privacy, more space, more storage, more amenities and luxury whilst being decorated and furnished to the highest of standards.
Ensuite rooms with power showers are all doubles and rents vary from £80pw - £99pw. Bills are fixed at £28 pw and include gas, electrics, water rates, council Tax, TV license, wireless broadband, Virgin TV, telephone line rental, weekly cleaning lady and handyman, gardener, window cleaner and light bulb replacement in communals). For studios rents are around £125pw-£135 for 1-bed apartments and bills are £45pw.
If you’re coming from outside the area just for the day, it’s best to contact us a few days in advance to try to arrange a daytime viewing. Then if you want to reserve and meet the existing housemates, we can try to arrange it for 6.30pm the same day.
