Preferred room and flatmate description

**Please note the room is not available until the beginning of December** Hi there! My name's Karen, I'm Irish and I'm 24 years old. I live with Mike (the home owner) who is a 25 year old local guy and Natalie (24) who's lived with us for last few months. Our other long term flatmate has decided to get somewhere closer to where he works so we currently have a spare room going in our flat. We're laid back, friendly people who like a good night out in town but we're also just as happy with a quiet night in with a dvd. We all work full time during the week but we like to kick back at the weekend and have a bit of fun with our friends.

We're looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and who likes to have a laugh - someone who can be a mate rather than just an extra person to live in the flat. We're pretty clean and tidy (not obsessively so!), so we would like someone who would be willing to keep the place looking presentable and do their fair share of the housework!

As for the room itself, it's a double bedroom, fully furnished with wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers and very comfortable double bed, with a big window so it's bright and airy. The flat has wireless broadband and Sky Plus HD (40 inch, flat screen telly too!) which are both included in the rent, along with all other bills (gas, electric, water, council tax etc). Transport links into town are really handy as there are bus stops for to and from town right outside the front door (actually right outside, it's great!) and we're only about 15 mins on foot away from the Chillingham Road metro station. The area is very residential and safe so on-street parking is not a problem.
