The Morning room has sole use of a small patio. Smoking is ok outside of the house, (sheltered seating is provided).
Secure parking with electric gates.
Village pub 5 minutes walking distance.
Ideal for walking(Danelaw Way, Culverthorpe Hall)
and cycling.

The village is in a conservation area and has a pub and restaurant (circa 1650), with 2 sister villages one having the Church (circa 1200)and the other, the village hall. The three villages cooperate in many events and functions. There is an annual art exhibition, fete and scarecrow competition, Baboon night, a group of Mummers, musicians and Morris dancers, annual pantomimes and various plays. There is carp fishing in the village and also 2 villages a couple of miles away. Kart racing(national standard circuit), paintballing, and bowling are about 5 minutes drive.
Belton House, Belvoir Castle nearby and Grimsthorpe Castle, the Elizabethan splendour of Burghley House and the famous stone town of Stamford, about 30 minutes drive.
About 7 miles/10 minutes to either Grantham or Sleaford, Bourne 17 miles/30 minutes, 25 miles/50 minutes to Lincoln, 25 miles/40 minutes Boston/Spalding, Stamford 30 miles/40minutes, Newark 22 miles/40 minutes, 33 miles/55 minutes to Nottingham (about 35 minutes by train), 1hour 15 minutes to London by train. 3 miles to Ancaster station.
