Preferred room and flatmate description
Hi, I am a friendly, relaxed person and looking for a professional or postgraduate student to live with me. I work at a local secondary school as a teacher so I'm busy during the week and relax at the weekends. I enjoy sports, music, and going out with friends. I have just moved into this large, quiet semi-detached house and I'm looking for a lovely housemate to share it with. The benefit of moving in with me is that I am the only tenant, so no fights for the bathroom and the house has been newly decorated. The area is quiet with plenty of parking outside the house, and off the road.
Local amenities include a small shop, post office and tasty Chinese takeaway all within 30 seconds walk. A couple of minutes walk and you will find a large co-op, newsagents, pharmacy and library. A short 5-10 minutes drive you will find large shopping centre (Beaumont shopping centre) with a massive Tesco Extra which has a free bus and many other shops. Fosse park and the city centre are only a 10-15 minute drive away, or you can walk into the city in about 25 minutes. There are lots of buses going from just around the corner, and a local gym.
I have a large double bedroom available; it is newly decorated and furnished with new bed and new mattress, and a huge wardrobe with drawers. The room also has a built in walk in cupboard for extra clothing space (!), mirror, plenty of plug sockets, a telephone point, and an optional shelving unit, bedside table and TV. Should you need a desk I also have one of those which can be put into the room.
The house has a large lounge with TV including freeview and sky, wireless internet with unlimited downloads, big kitchen diner with gas hob and oven, and a washing machine. The bathroom upstairs has an electric shower over a bath, and the house has garden back and front with two sheds for bikes etc.
The rent is £280 a month with bills split between us on top.
