A very large double furnished room is available in my lovely Victorian terraced house. It has lovely features: wooden floors and 3 windows facing south. It is a really bright, warm and friendly room. It is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, lovely cupboard and built in bookshelves.
Also...there is choice!... there is another large double room available in my partner's house, which is just as lovely. It is quiet, painted white wooden floors, light oak -1950's wardrobe and drawers - the house has 2 bathrooms.. very similar in terms of what we are looking for in a flatmate. So, in short, 2 rooms are available in different houses but which are just the next road along from each other!
one room is £600 pcm all inclusive, the other is £640 pcm all inclusive.
The house(s) have just been refurbished from top to bottom with double glazing throughout, solid wood floors etc, so looks lovely. There is a good sized private garden and a large kitchen/diner with ample seating and dining space. There is also a dry cellar for storing suitcases etc..
The house(s) are just off Chatsworth Road so very close to the french deli, chatsworth kitchen, venetias cafe and the weekly Sunday market and is easy walking distance to homerton tube as well as buses of course. The area has a great atmosphere. It feels relaxed and friendly but also in the thick of the east end art and cultural scene. People who live in Clapton tend to love it.
The flatmates are all in their 30s and professional . I live in the house too but I am not around all the time due to work travel and when not working I am often with my partner in the country. We are looking for a serious professional female, non-smoking (a must). It is not a party house and this is really important to us because we are all serious professionals but we are all friendly and it is a place to relax and enjoy the company of like minded people.
