Very comfortable double room to rent in a 2 bed Victorian conversion flat full of character in the heart of the Telegraph Hill conservation area yet still in Zone 2 and only 15 minutes to the West End or City. Large, well-equipped kitchen/dining space with all mod cons including dishwasher, and a good sized, well appointed bathroom. The flat is centrally heated and the bedroom is fully furnished with a large west-facing window giving good natural light.
It is in a great location with free tennis courts and 2 parks where we have a regular Farmers Market just at the next corner. A large Sainsbury's is just a 10 minute walk and there are excellent transport connections with buses and trains between 1 & 10 minutes walking distance providing services to the City, the Docklands and the West End in less than 15 minutes.
There are also good connections to out-of-London destinations.
The room has recently been furnished and redecorated in neutral colours, has its original (decorative) fireplace and includes a TV, set top box and DVD player.
Bed linen and bedding provided.
I am a fairly easy-going and respectful individual who enjoys good food, wine, movies, music and good company. I work in a demanding professional role though so I also enjoy spending time with myself.
My ideal lodger must be house-trained and generally considerate of others - A non-smoker who is self-sufficient and accustomed to making him/herself at home in someone else's home and is respectful of everything that goes with that.
