It all sounds rather stiff and formal below, however I thought it was best to have all the basic stuff available.
Read on, the house works really well and people stay for a long time.

How it works
We live independent but sociable lives. The kitchen tends to be the main meeting area for everyone, although during the summer, everyone also uses the garden. Everyone has their own kitchen cupboard/fridge/freezer space and, as milk and beverages are included, there are no issues with running out/someone taking the last of the milk.
The House
It is a large corner plot semi detached house with a garden, BBQ, table and chairs in the garden
Two bathrooms with separate bath and shower are shared by 3 people
There is a separate sitting room for lodgers with large TV, DVD Player and Virgin V+ and Sky Sports.
The sofa is a sofa bed and is available for guests
Large fully equipped kitchen with virtually every piece of equipment you can think available.
You should be aware that there is a cat who lets us share the house with her. There is also an incredibly friendly 24 month old bearded Collie who will be your friend
Cleaning
The shared areas of the house are cleaned on a regular basis. Your room is up to you.
