Hi, my name's Cat and I have a lovely sunny, large double room which is available for rent in my home in Birstall, Leicester.
Birstall is very close to Leicester city centre and has great local amenities (shops, including a Co-Op and Tesco Express, pubs and takeaways!) and transport links. There's a bus stop near the house and buses from there buses go regularly into the city centre. There are frequent buses from Loughborough Road (A6) which run every 10 minutes or so during the day, and the A6 provides easy access to many other locations, including Loughborough, etc.
The room is spacious and is fully furnished. It has an extremely comfortable double bed (all bedding included), desk & chair, armchair, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, TV with Freeview, internet connection, and a fireplace.
The main shared bathroom is large with a good shower, and there's also a half bathroom downstairs. The kitchen's fully equipped with microwave, washing machine, etc.
Outside there's a lovely large garden (with quite a few resident wild birds, including little robins!) with a sunny patio area at the back and off-road parking is available. The house is very comfortable and well maintained.
I'm friendly, down to earth, easygoing and although I don't smoke myself I don't mind renting the room to someone who does if they smoke outside. :-)

** I'd prefer to rent to single people but I would consider renting to a couple. However, the rent for a couple would be £355.00 per month.
