Only a large double or large single (with 3/4 size double bed) left in this high quality Victorian house. The house is quiet, clean, tidy, well maintained, and centrally located in Roath.
All rooms have good storage with a wardrobe, bed, shelves, chest of drawers, and chair, with double glazed windows and all are decorated to a high standard. The house has high ceilings, good central heating with constant hot water, and a well stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and washer, as well as a sun trap garden. The rent is totally inclusive (all bills: Council Tax, Elec, Gas, Water, WiFi internet and cable TV included). There is a house phone for incoming calls and both rooms have a phone jack so you can set up a private line if you wish. The double is £355 and the single is £325. and available immediately. The photos show two single rooms (blue walls), the large double room (green walls) and about half of the garden.
It's a quiet residential street but close to both City and Albany Roads, so lots of shops (including Tesco Metro), restaurants, take-aways, banks, bus stops etc very close, and it's a short walk to the University (5 mins), into town (15 mins) or to the hospital or Cardiff Bay ( both 25 mins). There is free street parking right outside the house and it's a short drive out of Cardiff to the M4 via Newport Road.
We are looking for someone very tidy and quiet to share a beautiful home. There will be a total of 5 people sharing as well as a friendly young cat (who is only allowed in the kitchen/living room, which has hard floors so mild allergies have never been a problem). This is not a party or student house, but hardworking, friendly, non-smoking professionals or postgrads (preferably female but nice and tidy guys considered!), over 22, and who will keep the house spotless, are welcome to view.
