I take short and long term sharers...
THE HOUSE
The house is truly wonderful....
It is a large victorian property with many original features, door, tiled hallway, fabulous fireplaces.... The house has been completely renovated and provides a great deal of space to live in.
Downstairs there are two living rooms (one the living room and the other a therapy/music room) and a kitchen so big that it has a table that seats at least 8 people comfortably.
There is a utility area beyond the kitchen which will, over the next month, be converted into a sauna!
The garden is well cared for, having some beds, an area of grass, decking and a tiled area with a fire pit. There is a large store of wood to burn in this, thus extending the gardens use as another living space.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, an office (which will be converted into a guest room) a loo which also doubles as an eco laundry room and a very large bathroom....
The bathroom is amazing! There is a double shower / steam room with lighting, water jets all over the place and a radio built in, two sinks, a bath and a massive towel rail.... I spend a great deal of time in here!!
The second floor is my space, a loft conversion room that is my bedroom and office.
The whole house is fully and comfortably furnished although if you have stuff there is plenty of space left to accommodate your furniture, books etc.
YOU
Your room is your private space and you can do what you like in it. All I would ask is that the room be left as found when you decide to move on.
The shared rooms in the house are also yours to freely make use of. Again, all I would ask is that these spaces are left relatively tidy.

THE LOCATION
The house is in the village of Aberfan.
There are no neighbours to the rear which backs onto the Taff Trail. I cycle into Cardiff once a week from here.
The village is 30 minutes from Treforrest, 40 minutes from Cardiff and ten minutes to Merthyr by public transport and obviously a bit quicker if you drive.
The area is quiet and very safe.
ME
I am a self employed, running an adventure activities company and I work from home. I am often in during the day but also spend a great deal of time away - in my campervan, travelling about.
I am into music, reading - the usual stuff, and I am looking for a couple of easy to get on with, relaxed people.
I have a lovely dog and a house rabbit. These animals are restricted to the kitchen and living room.
THE COST
The rate for a room in this houseshare is £244 FULLY INCLUSIVE of all bills. There is free wifi broadband set up.
